A Bit Of Everything

This is a good-sized (10″) tree in black locust, a stalwart of a wood in my holiday tree making. This chap got a base layer of ivory-white, on top of which I put down many fine lines in red, greens, and gold. The more numerous and thinner the lines, the more wracked my nerves, but it’s worth it when it all comes off as nicely as it has here. Protected with several coats of glossy shellac.
