Black Locust Serving Platter

This 13.5″ platter is made of black locust, just about the densest hardwood around these parts.  The dramatic grain patterns wander through the edge bevels and the inscribed circle in the middle.  The finish on this one is beeswax and mineral oil so it is food-safe.  It would look nice adorned with grapes, cheeses and crusty bread, if that be your fancy.
