Bowl Of The Sun God

Seemed like a fitting title.  More, I can not say. The many thin shafts that radiate from the deep blue center have an appealing randomness that was determined by, among other factors, the irregular shape of the form. In the very bottom sits a subtler starburst pattern of darker blue. The whole affair is finished to a bright gloss with several coats of shellac, lovingly applied.
