Bright Red Cherry

This 10″ bowl was turned green and left to distort, which it did — it’s slightly oval — but not as much as some. Cherry is a pretty stable wood. The inside is dyed an eye-popping deep red color and the whole thing received a bit of tung oil followed by several lovingly applied coats of shellac.
