Cherry Crisp

Another food reference, I’m afraid. Cherry is usually a great wood to turn because it holds details quite well, or, crisply, and this piece is a good example of that. The green bands and red & gold accents strongly hint at a holiday vibe, while the wood sections do their natural beauty thing. Brilliant gloss finish is the result of many thin layers of shellac.
