Like An Aged Ornament

This tree is made from a pretty nutty piece of honey locust that had lots of fine fissures in the wood. These wood grain imperfections pop through the coloring, giving an aged effect, like an antique ornament covered with tiny lines and scratches. I like the effect and the coloring as well. Finish in several coats of shellac.
