Eccentric Elm Bowl

This one’s a zinger, no doubt.  It was wildly unbalanced while turning it.  The bowl’s asymmetry, though part of the appeal in the final product, makes a smooth cut difficult.  I am quite happy with the result.  The major knot looks like a low pressure system or perhaps a galaxy.  Nature sure seems to like to repeat its patterns.  The tone and color of the elm is very pleasing in this piece.
