Elm Bowl In Red

The elm grain on this thin 6″ bowl really responded well to the reddish-brown dye treatment on the outside. As you rotate it in your hand the grain will flash brightly — an effect known as chatoyance, or the cat’s eye effect. Two raised beads decorate the exterior. A nice little display piece.
