Figured Maple In Green
When I get a piece of wood with nice figure I try to either not cover it up or to use transparent colors. On this piece of maple I went with both options, leaving the grain natural on the bottom surfaces and using a transparent green paint on the upper parts. Fine gold on the branch tips class it up some. A happy little tree.
