Fine Lines (And Lots Of Them)

I was feeling a bit too mellow and laid back when I went to color this tree, and decided that I needed a little more stress in my life. So I set about to paint 63 fine lines of nearly equal thickness and spacing. It did the trick. And when I returned to my resting pulse I had created this colorful tree. The top and bottom are left natural because I needed to chill and the several coats of shellac were a calming process.
