Fine Swirls

This is a pretty tall one, coming in at about 11″ high. The blue and ivory bands are lightened a bit by the very fine lines that run over the length of the piece. The attractive grain of the wood is particularly apparent in the blue sections. Fine gold rings make the branches stand out, and a double gold sphere finial tops off the piece. Shellac provides the smooth, lustrous finish.
