Glassic
Hey, I just invented a word. It’s a portmanteau of glass and classic (the term itself coming from “portland manatee plateau,” unless I’m very wrong). Anyway, do you see it? Clever you. At the risk of belaboring the obvious, glass refers to the frosted glass appearance of the ivory sides and finial and classic refers to a general sense of holiday rightness. The gloss finish serves to embellish the portmanteau, which is usually the job of the butler.
