Gold Fleece
This somewhat massive tree in red oak has a wash of thinned gold paint over the base colors of green, red, and ivory. The gold mostly settles into the sizable red oak grain pores and thereby creates a lovely blanketing pattern. The glossy finish is from several coats of shellac.
