Heavy Green Tree

Nice combination of green shades here, along with a bright red and white cap and a base that’s left natural (as all my trees are, actually). This tree is made from a piece of gnarly black locust, which is about the densest wood from around these parts in upstate NY. To hold it in your hand is to appreciate how heavy this wood is. Finished with many coats of shellac to a glossy sheen.
