Magnificent Maple

Centerpiece caliber tree, this one, and with a nice combination of holiday colors. The dark green color has a transparency that allows the vibrant maple grain to show off a bit (though I try to encourage humility in all my trees and so didn’t let on that I found its finish to be brilliant). The gold highlights work particularly well on this piece, and the warm white orb on top is sort of old-timey.
