Mid-century Inspired Bowl

This live-edge apple bowl features a raised band riding on a dramatic enclosed form. The whole of it is colored a deep teal, save for a circle at the bottom and the top of the bark edge. It is the circle, standing slightly proud of the bottom and in such contrast to its surroundings, that seems to give it a mid-century vibe. Finished with several coats of shellac.
