Oversized Ornamental Oak

This impressive tree towers a full 12″ above the table surface. Perhaps that’s a bit grandiose, but it is on the larger side for my line of trees. And it’s more than just big. It has nearly perfect proportions, a lovely “ornamental” finish, and grain patterns to die for. Wherever you put this tree it’s bound to make a statement, such as “Close the door. We’re not here to heat the neighborhood!” Also, the glossy finish is built up from many layers of shellac.
