Pickled Elm Box

I’m very much into filling the deep pores in woods like red oak, elm and locust to add contrast to a piece. Here I’ve done it again; I added a dark blue fill all around and then gave it a thin veneer of silver. The form is quite cylindrical, honest, even stoic.
