Red Mulberry In Green

Red Mulberry is generally an ugly looking tree and its wood is not used for much. But like many overlooked domestic hardwoods it is great to turn with. The color when freshly cut is canary yellow and the odor is…distinctive. So this tree is mostly green, as you can see. The silver colored branch tips give the impression of snow. And the red and gold accents give it a holiday nudge.
