Red Tree In Ash

This tree was made from ash (the tree, unfortunately, succumbed to the emerald ash borer) and the grain is quite pronounced. This is because I filled the pores with white paint and dyed the whole thing a vivid red. Underneath the branch sections the wood is painted green. Finished in several coats of shellac.
