Rounded Apple Form

Perhaps inspired by some memory of clay storage pots from antiquity, this apple form differs from a clay pot in its slightly oval shape, the result of the wood drying after being formed, and also in its attractive grain colors and patterns. Finished to a high gloss with several coats of oil/urethane varnish.
