Rounded Red Giant

This quite large tree has more softend features than most of my trees. The form is not unlike an arbor vitae (as it would look before the deer got to it). The translucent bright red coloring allows the swirling cherry grain to show through. Gold banding and an ivory (colored) finial are the treatments. Many coats of shellac give the piece a pleasing gloss finish.
