Sage Fissure Maple Box

Some of the most interesting wood, especially in maples, is close to spots where insects and decay have gotten a foothold. Such is the case with maple in this box, with its many variations in color and a small fissure running up the side. Dual raised rings on top and splashes of sage-green color add a bit more visual interest. Additional detailing inside and on the bottom. Finished with 3 coats of shellac outside, beeswax inside.
