Stacked Disks

How’s that for a holiday theme? Sounds like an orthopedic or computer term. Still, it’s descriptive and sometimes, when I’m trying to come up with something to say, I cling to the thin reed of descriptiveness. And if I was successful in deploying my skill as a woodturner, the sections of this tree will look like disks stacked one on the other. The alternating red and green are covered with a gold wash to tone them down a bit. A nice overall effect, I think. Sealed and shine-o-fied by many coats of shellac.
