Starry Night Box

There are many layers to this box’s finish:shellac, white paint, hide glue, blue paint, and finally several coats of shellac to seal and protect all those layers. When viewed from the top, it resembles, in a humble way, that famous painting by Van Gogh. The natural maple section gives a nice contrast to and separation of the antiqued sections. Additional detailing on the bottom and inside.
