Subtle Silver Tree

It’s hard to see, perhaps, from the photos, but the blue bands on this tree are slightly different shades. The iridescent pearl wash tends to level the color playing field, and it imparts such a delightful, even ethereal quality to the piece while allowing the grain patterns to come through. Hewn from honey locust wood, which is tough and dense (like that kid you knew from high school), this tree is quite substantial when held.
