Teal Of Two Sides

It was the best of bowls, it was the…I’d better stop there. With apologies to Dickens, of course. But this bowl exhibits two sets of contrasting sides. The inside is a deep teal — the result of green dye over blue — whereas the outside is natural. But when viewed as two halves, one side is very clean, light maple whereas the other side is a mosaic of different grain colors and patterns. The “curlier” patterns are also visible on the inside where the color really brings them out. Nice shiny finish too.
