Walnut Form With Turquoise Top
The lighter sapwood of this walnut vessel has been dyed a deep turquoise, which helps to bring out the grain on top. The dark brown of the walnut is left intact, and I like the color combination that results. The buff color of the opening provides a nice bit of contrast, dare I say surprise. Finished to a high gloss with shellac.
