Walnut Magi

This one reminds me of an abstracted version of one of The Three Kings, Balthazar, Caspar and Melchior. I don’t know which one, as the abstraction is nearly total. But there’s something of a crown and headdress in there. Also, the middle green band looks very much like myrrh. All this chicanery aside, it’s a festive tree, with its copper and color. The lovely walnut is given a wide berth (not of our lord) as well. Gloss finish in shellac.
