Walnut Tube Vase Set

These tubular vases are quite lovely on their own or with dried grasses and the like. They are bored out while the wood is still green and they usually bend a bit in the drying process, giving rise to wonderfully organic shapes. They run about 10″, 9″ and 8″ tall and are finished with several coats of shellac for a nice glossy sheen.  A splash of bright blue paint on the inside provides a nice colorful contrast to the natural hues of the walnut grain.
