White Ash Form

The profile of this piece reminds me of an ashtray my parents used to have. Though neither of them smoked, you just needed them back in the 60s. So I guess the style is kind of mid-century. Ash is known for its light color, beautiful grain and the occasional random bit of darker wood running around. All that is on display here, under a many coats of finely applied shellac.
