White Oak & Plum

I say plum, but it’s a hard color to nail down. But the pictures give a pretty good representation, so you decide. The wood is from a very old and very large white oak tree that finally gave up the ghost. A fine lip sits just above the base. Finished with 3 coats of shellac all around.
