White Truffle Tree

As I finished off this tree, I wondered why I was getting a hankering for something sweet. Then it occurred to me that this tree was reminding me of the wrapping of white chocolate truffles we’d sometimes get the kids (never us parents). The ivory base color is livened up by faint streaks of silver and gold. The red and gold accents look good enough to eat, but though the glossy shellac finish is non-toxic, I don’t recommend it.
