Yew Bowl

This end-grain bowl has surviving bark bits at about 120 degree intervals around the rim.  The outside wall sports a raised band at the top and the inside rim has a raised lip.  This was taken from just below where the main trunk split off into two main branches.  This was a slow-growing tree, as evidenced by the many growth rings.
